Resilient Artist Projects
Flowers
This series of oversized flower sculptures is a prayer for peace. The largest flowers are ones that have come to symbolize peace: the peace lily, peace rose, and the white poppy. The smaller blooms are the national flowers of some of the places currently at war: the red anemone (Israel), faqqu'a iris (Palestine), chamomile (Russia), and sunflower (Ukraine).
The Lighter Weight of Being is the culminating multimedia and interactive event for the 2025 - 2026 Resilient Artist cohort.
